A light weight, hands-on tool designed to aid in pipe layouts and alignments. No need to measure pipe penetrations! Solid one-piece plastic construction with no mechanical parts ensures a longer tool life. The laser is a self-contained, battery-operated module with an on/off push-button switch.
This tool is used for numerous applications in both horizontal and vertical piping layouts. It simply slips onto the end of either a 1½" or 2" plastic pipe, though it’s not limited to these sizes — it can also be used with adapters, tees, elbows, and couplers.
Check out the job videos below to see the tool in action and to better understand the principles of working with the laser. The laser beam projects a straight line along the path the pipe will take. Once set, the beam shows exactly where to drill. Then, without moving the tool, it helps you continue drilling at the correct pitch for both horizontal and vertical locations. After drilling, simply remove the tool and install the new pipe.
